FAQ about inspections

1 What is included under "work equipment"?
Portable electrical devices are devices that can be easily moved from one place to another. They must not be permanently installed and must not weigh more than 23 kg.
2 How often must work equipment be inspected?
  • Office equipment, such as computers, screens, but also kitchen appliances (e.g. coffee machine and kettle), must be inspected at least every two years.
  • Work equipment that is used in workshops or on construction sites must be inspected at least annually.
  • It is important to note that private equipment that is used within the workplace must also be inspected.
