Process & Approach
Successful event management in football begins long before kick-off. As a first step, we conduct a detailed briefing with the organizer to clarify goals, framework conditions, regulatory requirements and particular risk factors. This is followed by an on-site inspection, during which we check infrastructure, visitor routes, emergency exits, technology and logistical processes. Based on these findings, we develop a tailor-made security and operational concept that defines prevention and response measures. On the day of the event, we take over the management of the security center, coordinate all emergency services and control communication. After completion, a structured follow-up takes place: we document the process, evaluate experiences and derive optimizations for future events. In this way, we create security, efficiency and professionalism – from planning to follow-up.
Security Center & Overall Coordination
The Security Center (SiZe) is the heart of every professional event management in the football sector. DIGA assumes responsibility here for the overall coordination of all security-relevant actors – from police, fire and rescue services to the organizer, security service and stadium security. All threads come together in the operational command center: We make well-founded decisions based on the current situation, initiate measures and ensure smooth communication between all parties involved. In doing so, we act strictly in accordance with the requirements of the German Ordinance on Places of Assembly (MVStättVO § 38) and in close coordination with local authorities and the security requirements of DFB, DFL and UEFA. Our goal is to ensure both public safety and the success of the event equally.
